From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this villa is a true haven for those seeking a picturesque retreat. The hospitality of the Anderson Family truly enhanced our stay. Their warm welcome note and gift, attention to detail, and genuine desire to ensure our comfort made us feel like cherished guests in their home. The thoughtful recommendations for local activities, including where to find the finest Vino Verde, added an extra layer of personalisation to our experience. The highlight of Casa Muriel is undoubtedly the mesmerising views of the ocean and the vibrant sunsets that can be enjoyed from the villa's expansive balcony. What sets this property apart is the unique sight of a lighthouse gracing the horizon, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere that lingers long after the sun has set... it's the perfect background for all the al fresco dining we enjoyed over the week we were there. The villa's design seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, with all bedrooms opening onto the inviting pool area. The pool itself is a masterpiece, offering a refreshing escape while surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature. Whether lounging on the poolside terrace or taking a dip, guests are treated to an exclusive and private oasis that truly embodies the essence of coastal living. For those looking to explore the local culinary delights, a quick ten-minute drive to the charming town of Carvoeiro is a must. Here, we discovered the most delectable Pastel de Nata, a quintessential Portuguese custard tart that captivated our taste buds with its flaky pastry and creamy filling. Carvoeiro also boasts a lively atmosphere and an array of dining options to suit every palate. Casa Muriel is a dream destination that effortlessly combines luxury, natural beauty, and the warmth of Portuguese hospitality. It's a haven where every moment, from sunrise to sunset, feels like a cherished memory in the making. Without a doubt, this villa is a testament to the enchanting allure of Algarve, and we can't wait to return to its embrace. We have enjoyed three wonderful family holidays over the past year and we will certainly hope to stay each year in the years to come! Thank you!

- We visited in June to celebrate my Dad’s 60th birthday which was delayed by a year because of covid. The villa was even better than the pictures. So much to do in the local area, we went on a boat trip to the caves and Quinta dos Vales winery for a tasting. The facilities at the villa are brilliant. Four very spacious double rooms each with an en-suite which was perfect. We’d definitely recommend Fim Du Mundo restaurant if you’re a meat eater. It’s about twenty minutes away but worth it! Thank you again to the Anderson family for renting out your gorgeous home.

- Visited in the 1st week of May; weather warm (always over 27 degrees by day) villa spacious, cool, tastefully furnished; garden well maintained & colourful; pool side very private in fact you feel so relaxed there. Views from balcony of sea so beautiful. Plenty to do such as coastline walks looking at all the caves; golf; tennis; trips to Monchique, Selves and other charming parts of the Algarve. So many places to eat but I recommend Bon Bon (deserves a Michelin Star), Onze, O'Pescador but read the 'Inside' magazine in the villa for details. Superb sound system in the villa. Please do yourself a favour and book a visit.
